Book Clubs at the Library
A variety of book clubs meet every month at Prescott Public Library. No registration is required and new members are always welcome. For more information on book clubs at the library, visit the Ask a Librarian Desk on the 2nd floor of the library or call 928.777.1526. Individual meeting times, locations, and their selected titles can be viewed on the online events calendar.
Mystery Book Club
Meets first Fridays at 2 pm
Read a diverse variety of mystery books while enjoying the company of like-minded readers.
Wednesday Morning Book Club
Meets second Wednesdays at 10 am
Book selections are contemporary, eclectic and interesting.
WORDS Book Club
Meets second Thursdays at 6:30 pm
The WORDS Book Group (We Often Read Delightful Stories) book selections are varied and range from classic to contemporary.
Book Club Kits
Kits are available for area book clubs with multiple copies of the same title as well as guides and information for book club discussions. Please call the Ask a Librarian Desk at 928.777.1526 or email us for kit availability and reservations.
Each Kit Contains:
- Eight to ten copies of the book; some kits include a large print copy or audiobook.
- Tips for a successful book club.
- Biographical information about the author.
- Suggested discussion questions for the book.
Guidelines:
- Each kit checks out to one group member for a period of eight weeks.
- Kits may not be renewed.
- Kits can be picked up at the Ask a Librarian Desk on the 2nd floor of Prescott Public library or sent to another Yavapai Library Network library for pickup. Contact the Ask a Librarian Desk at 928.777.1526 for more details.
- Kits must be returned with all contents of the bag to the Ask a Librarian Desk on the 2nd floor of Prescott Public Library or directly to circulation staff at the library where the kit was checked out.
Book Club Kits are provided with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library.
